How we chose

  • Built for game companies or clearly used by them
  • Runs or supports paid creator campaigns or Twitch sponsorships, not only analytics
  • Shows clearly how an offer reaches the creator
  • Facts checked on each company's own website, Twitch's or published coverage
  • Covers at least one of Twitch, YouTube or TikTok

The list

  1. 1. Wehype

We're a creator marketing company for games, founded in Sweden in 2016, with our own platform and a team that runs campaigns end to end. We're an official Twitch partner, so our campaigns can appear inside the Twitch Sponsorship Dashboard, where streamers opt in themselves, targeted by viewership, country, games played and brand safety checks. For launches we also run managed Creator Campaigns and Twitch Boosts. After a campaign, Community Rewards and Creator Codes keep creators playing your game. In 2025, 2,700+ unique creators delivered 8,600,000+ hours of sponsored watch time on Wehype campaigns.

A gaming influencer marketing platform is software, a service or both that helps a game company find creators, pay them to play its game and measure what happens. Below are seven platforms studios use, from managed campaigns to self serve tools and the platforms that sponsor Twitch streamers, and how to choose between them.

We put Wehype first because this is our site and we think we’re good at this. You should still judge us the same way you judge everyone else on the list. The six other platforms here are ones game companies actually use, and every fact about them comes from their own websites, from Twitch or from published coverage linked in our sources.

How to choose a gaming influencer marketing platform

Start with the job. A launch needs a lot of creators live in a short window, and the lineup matters. A live game needs creators coming back every season. An indie game on Steam needs reach on a small budget. The same platform rarely does all three equally well, so decide which one matters most this year.

Then ask who does the work. A self serve platform gives you the tools and leaves the briefing, chasing and paying to your team. A managed service gives you people who handle the boring stuff. Neither is better in general. Self serve is cheaper per campaign if you have the hours. Managed is faster if you don’t.

Questions to ask every platform

  • Where do creators see your offer? Inside Twitch, inside a streaming tool, in a marketplace or by email? The fewer steps for the creator, the more of them say yes.
  • How are creators picked? Follower counts tell you little. Ask for games played, viewer location, watch time and past campaign results.
  • How did creators perform against the estimate? Ask for the typical result, not the best case. Ours: the median sponsored Twitch stream drew 9% more viewers than we expected when we booked the streamer.
  • How fast are creators paid? Slow payouts are one of the quickest ways to lose creators. Ours is 3 banking days.
  • What do you see while it runs? Live data while streams happen beats a PDF a month later.
  • What happens after the campaign? Creators who keep playing your game are the best result a campaign can have. Ask how the platform helps you find and keep them.

Twitch sponsorships

Twitch runs its own sponsorships program. Streamers find campaigns in the Sponsorship Dashboard inside their Creator Dashboard, and formats include Channel Skins, Sponsored Subs and Streamer-Read Ads. In August 2026 Twitch opened sponsorships to Affiliates as well as Partners, for streamers who complete the free Creator Sponsorship Certification. Twitch also works with third parties whose campaigns appear in the same dashboard. StreamElements was the first, and Wehype campaigns appear there too.

For a game company, that means there are now two ways to reach streamers: inside Twitch, where they opt in to offers that match them, or outside it, through a tool like StreamElements or Streamlabs, a marketplace like Lurkit or an agency. Twitch also warns streamers about offers that arrive outside the dashboard, which is worth knowing when you plan outreach.

Decide how many streamers you need. A launch with ten hand picked streamers is a different job from a release week with hundreds of small ones. One to one deals suit the first. Opt in offers inside a dashboard suit the second, because nobody has to negotiate each deal. Small streamers are worth the reach: in our Twitch campaigns from 2024 to 2026, streamers with 25 to 99 viewers got 318% more chat messages per viewer hour and 172% more link clicks per viewer than streamers with 2,000+ viewers.

Our guide to Twitch sponsorships explains how the dashboard works for brands, and the Twitch guide covers the whole campaign.

Where each kind of platform fits

Platforms built around a creator tool, like StreamElements and Streamlabs, reach streamers in software they already have open. Marketplaces and self serve platforms such as Lurkit and GameInfluencer.IO let your team post campaigns and pick from creators who apply. Gamesight leans toward measurement, which suits teams that report on installs and purchases. Streamforge suits teams that want to do their own research on creators and competitors.

Wehype sits on the managed side, with our own platform underneath. We play the game first, pick creators by what they actually play, and run the campaign end to end. With Twitch Integration, the same campaign can also reach the long tail of small streamers through the Twitch Sponsorship Dashboard, where they opt in themselves. After launch, Community Rewards and Creator Codes, our Support-A-Creator program, give creators a reason to keep streaming. In 2026 campaigns we followed for 30 days after the paid streams ended, 18% of sponsored streamers came back to the game without being paid. Community Insights shows who is new, active, at risk or churned.

Match the platform to your game

Your platform choice also depends on what you’re marketing. A game launch needs scale in a short window. Mobile games often care most about installs and cost per install. PC and console titles lean on Twitch and YouTube. Small teams should read our guide to Steam campaigns, and live games should look at live ops and creator programs.

Whatever you pick, agree on how you’ll measure it before the first stream. Our guide to ROI covers the numbers we use, and our page on how the Wehype platform works explains what runs under the hood. For the bigger picture, start at our guide to creator marketing for games.

Questions we get

What is a gaming influencer marketing platform?

Software, a service or both that helps a game company find creators, pay them to play the game, and measure what happens. Some are self serve tools your team runs. Others, like Wehype, also give you a team that runs the campaign for you.

Should I pick a self serve platform or a managed service?

Self serve suits teams with someone who has time to brief, chase and pay creators every week. Managed suits launches and big beats where the lineup has to be right and nobody in house has the hours.

Many studios mix the two: a managed launch, then a self serve or always on program after it.

How do Twitch sponsorships work?

A brand or game pays a streamer to feature it on stream, for example by playing the game for a set number of hours with an overlay and a tracking link. Offers can come from Twitch itself, from partners whose campaigns appear in the Twitch Sponsorship Dashboard, or from outside platforms and agencies.

Which platform is best for Twitch campaigns?

Look for one that reaches streamers where they already work. Wehype campaigns can run inside the Twitch Sponsorship Dashboard, StreamElements offers appear in its own creator dashboard, and Streamlabs Sponsorships runs inside Streamlabs Desktop for US streamers.

Can Twitch Affiliates get sponsorships?

Yes. In August 2026 Twitch opened brand sponsorships to Affiliates who complete the free Creator Sponsorship Certification and accept the Sponsorship Portal terms. Brands still set their own criteria for each campaign.

What is the Twitch Sponsorship Dashboard?

The part of the Twitch Creator Dashboard where streamers find and accept sponsorship campaigns. Twitch says it will never send contracts or campaign invitations for its Creator Sponsorship campaigns outside the dashboard.

Why is Wehype first on this list?

Because it's our website. We say so up front, and we only describe other platforms with facts from their own sites, so you can compare for yourself.
