Wehype's own list, with Wehype first.

How we chose

  • Finds or vets creators who make gaming content
  • Covers Twitch, YouTube or both
  • Shows data beyond follower counts
  • Facts checked on each company's own website

The list

  1. 1. Wehype

Best for: Studios that want to find the creators already playing their game, and act on it

Community Insights shows who is playing and streaming your game and where each creator is in their lifecycle: new, active, at risk or churned. You can filter by region, platform, game version or lifecycle stage. For campaigns, our team matches creators on what they actually play and who watches them, using data from our own platform, and Twitch Integration can target streamers by viewership, country, games played and brand safety.

    • Creator lifecycle tracking: new, active, at risk, churned
    • Filters by region, platform, game version and lifecycle stage
    • Connects straight to Community Rewards and Creator Codes
    Visit Wehype
  2. 2. Stream Hatchet

Best for: Publishers and agencies that want gaming creator analytics across many platforms

Stream Hatchet, now Hatchet, offers "Creator Marketing Analytics built for gaming," covering discovery, campaign tracking and ROI measurement. It covers Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X and more than 25 other platforms. You describe the creator you need and AI search returns matches, and fake audience scoring flags suspicious channels. It also publishes industry reports on streaming.

    • Built for game publishers, brands, esports and agencies
    • Fake audience scoring before you commit
    • Logos on its site include Riot Games, Electronic Arts and Blizzard
    Visit Stream Hatchet
  3. 3. Streams Charts

Best for: Teams that need livestreaming data across Twitch, YouTube, Kick and other platforms

Streams Charts is a livestreaming analytics platform with channel and game rankings across Twitch, YouTube, Kick and many other streaming services. Its Audience Geo and Demographics tool shows where a creator's viewers are, their interests, age ranges and the audience overlap between creators. Data is available on its site, through paid plans and through an API.

    • Audience geo, demographics and overlap between creators
    • Coverage of Twitch, YouTube and Kick
    • API for campaign planning and reporting

  4. 4. Streamforge

Best for: Game teams that research creators and competitors themselves

Streamforge describes itself as "an influencer marketing platform for creator discovery," built for brands, agencies and game publishers. It analyzes audiences across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram and X, tracks Twitch streams while they are live, and can look up game content on Twitch and YouTube. Its Intelligence product shows which creators your competitors sponsor.

  5. 5. HypeAuditor

Best for: Vetting audience quality before you sign a creator

HypeAuditor calls itself an "Influencer marketing platform to find, vet, and activate creators." Discovery covers Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X and Twitch, with AI, keyword and lookalike search. It offers fraud detection, and its Audience Quality Score rates an account from 0 to 100. It is a general platform, not built only for games.

  6. 6. TwitchTracker

Best for: A quick public look at a Twitch channel or game before you dig deeper

TwitchTracker publishes statistics and rankings for Twitch channels, games and streams, including viewers, watch time, stream time and languages. It's a good first check on a streamer's history before a paid tool or a call. The site states it is not affiliated with Twitch or Amazon.

    • Channel and game rankings
    • Viewers, watch time and stream time per channel
    • Channel comparisons
    Visit TwitchTracker

We put Wehype first on our own list. That’s the honest version. The other five tools are ones game teams use to find creators, and we’ve described each one with facts from its own site or published coverage, so you can judge for yourself.

Start with the creators you already have

Most studios look outward first. We’d start inward. For almost every game, creators are already streaming it without a contract, and nobody on the marketing team knows their names. Those creators like your game already, which is more than any search filter can promise.

Community Insights sorts them by lifecycle stage. New creators can get an incentive while they’re still deciding. Active creators can get Community Rewards or Creator Codes, our Support-A-Creator program. At risk creators get a nudge before they stop, and churned creators become a list to call when your next update ships.

How to choose a gaming influencer discovery tool

Check the platforms. If your game lives on Twitch, a tool built around Instagram won’t help much. Streams Charts and Stream Hatchet cover many streaming platforms. HypeAuditor is broader and covers social platforms too.

Check what the data measures. Follower count is the weakest signal. Look for games played, average viewers, watch time, audience country and audience overlap between creators.

Check audience quality. Fake audience scoring, like HypeAuditor’s Audience Quality Score or Stream Hatchet’s fake audience checks, saves you from paying for viewers who aren’t there.

Check what happens after you find someone. A list is only useful if you can act on it. Some tools stop at data. Others, like Streamforge, include outreach and campaign workflow. With us, discovery feeds straight into Twitch Integration and managed campaigns.

Free tools are a good first step

TwitchTracker and SullyGnome publish Twitch stats by channel and by game, and SullyGnome lets you filter by language and look back at monthly history to 2016. Use them to check a streamer’s history or see which games are growing. They won’t tell you where a streamer’s viewers live or whether those viewers are real, which is where paid tools earn their price.

Discovery is half the job

Finding creators is the easy part to automate. Deciding which ones fit your game takes someone who has played it. We play the game first, then match creators on what they actually stream and who watches them. That approach shows in our campaign stories.

Read our guides to Twitch and YouTube campaigns, how discovery fits a game launch or live ops, and what we track to measure ROI. Our platform overview explains the data underneath, and the hub covers creator marketing for mobile games, PC and console and Steam. Want help finding the right creators? Get in touch.

Questions we get

How do I find gaming influencers for my game?

Start with the creators who already play your game or games like it. Look at which games they stream, where their viewers are and how long viewers stay, then check audience quality before you reach out.

Community Insights shows creators already playing your game. Tools like Stream Hatchet, Streams Charts and Streamforge help you look wider.

Are there free tools to find Twitch streamers?

Yes. TwitchTracker and SullyGnome publish Twitch stats by channel and by game. They're good for a first look. Paid tools add audience location, demographics and fake audience checks.

What should I look at besides follower count?

The games a creator actually plays, average viewers, watch time, where the audience lives and how the creator performed in earlier campaigns. Follower counts are the least useful number on a channel.

Why is Wehype first on this list?

Because this is our site. We say so openly and describe the other tools with facts from their own websites.
