Ubisoft is a video game company headquartered in Montreuil, with development studios across the world. Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, For Honor… you get the point. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is an online multiplayer tactical shooter. The game was released across all major platforms in January 2022.
Since 2019, Wehype has partnered with Ubisoft, managing a number of influencer marketing campaigns across games and markets. This time, Ubisoft came to Wehype to connect with a diverse cast of streamers that truly represents the whole gaming community.
Speaking to new & existing communities
Wehype’s mission for the Rainbow Six Extraction launch campaign was to build hype and awareness for mainstream gamer audiences. Players could enjoy the game and have fun with their friends, as well as engaging the franchise’s existing community with tactical and unique gameplay.
To do this, we matched the best-suited creators through our platform, making sure to reach the right target audience for the different campaigns. This was made possible by a big set of data points — such as Game data, Twitch data, and success data from previous campaigns.

Over 40 Twitch content creators across the UK and Nordics streamed the game live on Twitch in our Let’s Play format, resulting in over 2.4m viewer minutes.
